Review – Flying Club Tomahawk from Justflight

First off In my opinion Justflight have done a fantastic job with this model. The exterior of the aircraft is top notch with bump mapping which gives this aircraft an edge over the earlier models of the Tomahawk. The aircraft comes with various colours and country registrations so you can take your pick. It’s acts very realistic to the actual aircraft in Real world.
Flying this aircraft is a pleasure, within the first 5 mins of me flying it I was already getting used to the layout of the aircraft and the flight deck layout. I found one small glitch however, the glitch was with the propellor, once the aircraft was loaded up I found it to be too dark so much so I couldn’t see the horizon very much (which is what you need to see during VFR flight) I quickly posted about the problem I was having on the Vatsim UK forums and within 5 mins one of my friends gave me a solution which was an easy work around. If you wish to find out how I fixed this issue just comment at the end with your email and I shall send the new file to fix the glitch.
Aside from glitches that was the only problem I actually had. Everything onboard the PA38 works as it is meant to do, the flight dynamics are superb which makes it a fantastic bird to fly. However I do recommend a weight and balance before you take if off or make sure you set as little as weight as possible, weight and balance would be more realistic though.
It is very frame rate friendly too i was even running the full VFR Scenery and was having 40 fps.
I do highly recommend this aircraft to anybody interested in flying GA and VFR and likes a slow pace. It is worth every penny, just to prove that to you here are some pics.
